• The Government announced plans on 16 July to ensure businesses across the UK will continue to enjoy seamless internal trade when the UK leaves after the transition period.
• Under plans set out in the UK internal market white paper, which is now open for consultation, the government will seek to maintain the coherence of the UK’s internal market.
• The consultation is open until the end of day 13 August.
