Brighton based company Custom Pharma Services is working with Oxford University to bring a drug through to clinical trials to help fight against the symptoms of Covid 19.
Nigel Richardson, CEO said, "We are very pleased to be able to do this work and hope that it will lead to a reduction in the effect of this nasty virus on the population of the UK and wider world in due course if the results of the planned clinical trial for this drug are successful."
Custom Pharma was founded in 1979 and has been developing and manufacturing medicines since that time. Custom employs over 200 full time staff and is expanding its operations within the city on a new site in Moulsecoomb during 2021/2.
