Cubitt & West Estate Agents Support Local Communities with Vital Funds

Donating over £750,000 to local Food Banks

Since January Cubitt & West Estate Agents have donated £100 to community food banks every time they attend a property valuation to help support their local communities.

Aware of the impact that the cost-of-living crisis is having on families over winter, Cubitt & West is continuing to donate £100 for every property they value resulting in £110,000 going to Sussex food banks and local community pantries administered through Sussex Community Foundation.

The campaign, led by Group Managing Director, Aldo Sotgiu, has raised over £750,000 so far, helping over 90 individual food banks across the South East.

On top of these generous donations, their agents have been visiting their local food banks to learn, volunteer and raise awareness of the local food banks in their area.

Group Managing Director, Aldo Sotgiu said “It has been a truly humbling experience for all of us to learn more about how food banks support our local communities. To be able to support and provide in a way that gives back to our community is a great feeling and there is still so much more help we need to give over the coming months. I just want to take this opportunity to extend a huge thank you to all our staff and customers who have made this possible.”

For many years Cubitt & West have been providing support to local charities, through their local community foundations and in partnership with The Paul Rooney Family Foundation.

Sussex Community Foundation CEO, Kevin Richmond said “ We are very grateful to Cubitt & West for providing this valuable support over such a harsh time for people across Sussex. We know how much it has been appreciated by the amazing people who run these local food banks and those in the community who are depending on them right now”
