A liveable city for everyone
Car Free Day is celebrated across the world on or around 22 September. It encourages people to walk, cycle or use public transport, instead of using their car for the day.
From 18 to 25 September there are some great activities, offers and events available to residents, employees and employers, such as:
• 1000 free BTN BikeShare rides
• Free bus travel to the South Downs
• The eCargo Bike Accelerator Project Expo on 22 Sept at Jubilee Square
• Performance at Valley Gardens
• Plus other activities
The purpose of Car Free Day is to enable all residents and visitors to think about how they travel to, from and around the city.
