Local PR agency recognised in national PR awards

Brighton-based public relations and communications consultancy Fugu was awarded a special Mark of Excellence award at the industry's’ most prestigious national awards ceremony  – The Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) Excellence Awards.

The consultancy was shortlisted alongside five leading global agencies in the Transport or Automotive Campaign category after being recognised for its outstanding work with Brighton’s beloved bike sharing scheme - BTN BikeShare.

Fugu created a community-focused campaign which placed the scheme firmly in the city’s conscience and resulted in it becoming the UK’s most successful bike share scheme outside of London.

Showcasing the highest levels of professional achievement from PR professionals nationwide, the Excellence Awards winners were announced on 6 June at the ceremony in central London.
