Latest Valley Gardens Phase 3 Update
In the last few weeks, work has continued to:
• Construct a new public space, wider pavements and new cycle lane next to the Royal Albion hotel.
• Install pits for new trees. These will be planted in the autumn.
• A temporary pedestrian route and crossings have been opened between the hotel, Steine Gardens and Marine Parade. These follow the existing crossings but, once complete, a much more direct route will be provided between the Old Steine and Pier.
• Lay new paving between Princes Street and St James’s Street.
