Toby Tiger, based on Gardner Street in Brighton’s famous North Laine, has been named one of the UK’s 100 most inspiring small businesses for 2025 by Small Business Saturday UK.

Founded in 1998 by Zoe Mellor, Toby Tiger has been creating fun, ethical, and sustainable children’s clothing for over 25 years. Being part of this year’s SmallBiz100 is an incredible honour, and it recognises not just our colourful designs, but the amazing community of customers and supporters who’ve grown with us along the way.

As part of the countdown to Small Business Saturday on 6 December, Toby Tiger will be profiled on 25 November, when the Small Business Saturday Tour visits Brighton. This is a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to meet the team, share their stories, and access free business support – a chance to get involved, be part of the buzz, and put other small Brighton businesses on the map!
