SRC Corporate Finance advises SRC Advisory on its acquisition of Simon Winnard & Company

SRC CF has advised the shareholders of SRC Advisory Limited on the acquisition of Simon Winnard & Co.

Brighton & Hove-based business advisory firm, SRC Advisory Limited has completed the acquisition of fellow local practice Simon Winnard & Company, in a deal that marks a further step in SRC's continued growth strategy.

The transaction, which completed earlier this month, forms part of a long-term succession plan for Simon Winnard and expansion strategy for SRC. The two businesses share a strong alignment in values and client service ethos, with both firms known for delivering tailored advice to owner-managed businesses and individuals across the region.

As part of the deal, Simon Winnard will continue to remain actively involved in the business, ensuring continuity for clients and a seamless transition. It will be very much business as usual, with the Simon Winnard team joining SRC at their offices near Preston Park.

Steve Crouch, CEO of SRC Advisory, said of the deal: "We are delighted to welcome Simon and his excellent team to SRC. This acquisition strengthens our presence in the SME market and brings together two trusted names in accountancy and enhances our specialist tax offering. Simon has built a high-quality practice, and we're looking forward to the next chapter together."

Simon Winnard, founder of Simon Winnard & Company, commented: "Joining forces with SRC is a great fit for our clients and our team. We share a hands-on, personal approach to tax planning and accountancy, and I'm pleased to be continuing on with the business as part of a like-minded firm."
