Brighton and Hove Food Partnership facilitate a network of around 50 food banks, affordable food shops, community meals, pantries, and meals-on-wheels schemes.

A representative from the Food Partnership said, “It’s a really tough time for these organisations as we continue to see really high levels of need, and so we’re doing a big city-wide competition to raise as many tins as we can!”

The Partnership is asking workplaces, teams, businesses, year-groups, colleges and schools to sign up and raise as many tins of food as they can. The top tin-raisers will be promoted via their 6,000 newsletter subscribers and social media channels.
