The funding is designed to help develop new ideas or to expand on successful initiatives that are already making a difference. The goal is to make active travel a viable option for more people within our communities as well as encourage entrepreneurs to carry out creative and ambitious projects and kickstart economic growth.

Transport for the South East encourages organisations to apply for this grant to enhance active travel options for residents across the South East, supporting our decarbonisation mission outlined in the draft transport strategy.

Active Travel England will host webinars to support applications to the Innovation Fund from organisations in the South East. For updates on upcoming events sign up to the Active Travel England newsletter.
