Active Travel England has launched the Active Travel Innovation Fund, a new £1 million revenue fund designed to support innovative interventions that encourage walking, wheeling, and cycling across England.

Organisations and individuals with creative behaviour change ideas - or those looking to scale proven solutions - can apply for grants of up to £100,000. The fund aims to support projects that promote active travel, particularly among underrepresented groups, and foster collaboration between local authorities, communities, and businesses.

• Funding available: Up to £100,000 per project

• Delivery period: 12 months, followed by evaluation

Successful applicants will receive support from Active Travel England and the Government Grants Managed Service, including help with monitoring, evaluation, and strategic stakeholder engagement.
