The council, as a licensing authority, is carrying out a consultation exercise as part of the review of its Gambling Policy.
The policies reflects national legislation and guidance and demonstrates how responsible authorities will operate at a local level. Proposed changes to the policy may be led by governmental decisions or by lessons learnt here in Brighton & Hove. There are no changes proposed to the Policy the content has just been updated to reflect up to date facts and figures.
The council would like local stakeholders, residents and members of the public as well as statutory consultees and “responsible authorities” to have their say about the proposed policy.
Your views will help to inform the revised policy. Consultation lasts for 4 weeks, so please respond by no later than 15th September 2024.
