The survey closes on Sunday 12 January.

You can read the full 28-page draft strategy at the bottom of this link before taking part in the consultation, or we've summarised the key approaches (called workstreams) with some of questions to help frame your responses.

More information

The development of this draft Drugs and Alcohol Strategy has been a collaborative effort, led by the city's Combatting Drugs Partnership Board and informed by a recent needs assessment.

The partnership includes representatives from services across Brighton & Hove, including council departments, health and social care, the police, treatment services and the voluntary and community sector.

BHCC have also worked with people with lived experience who have helped shape the priorities to align with local and national aims.

The artwork used in the strategy was provided by Cascade Creative Recovery, which supports people in recovery.

Our Vision

The vision is to make Brighton & Hove a place where everyone will be safe from the harm caused by drugs and alcohol.

  • Be guided by the latest evidence, local data and intelligence
