Your invite to the Climate:Change launch event

You are invited to the launch of Climate:Change, Brighton and Hove's new independent, non-party-political, and non-partisan think-tank on climate action in the City. This will be a great opportunity to shape debate about the future of climate action in Brighton and Hove.

The event will take place on Monday, 25 September, at 16.30 for 17.00 in the Syndicate Wing of the Brighton Centre (entrance in Russell Rd). Tea and coffee will be served from 16.30, and the meeting will end at 18.30.

The launch will be opened by ClIr Bella Sankey, Leader of Brighton and Hove City Council, and will feature speakers from the research and practitioner communities.

The goal is to bring together researchers, policymakers, operational specialists, businesses, and local organisations, to examine options, identify priorities, and build consensus, including on the policies needed locally and nationally. We are very aware of the positive thinking and work already available in Brighton and Hove, and hope to celebrate and contextualize these initiatives.

Please note that we welcome campaigners to join our discussions, but we are not a campaigning organisation or a forum for campaigns. To find out more about us - and Climate:Change - please visit our website at www.climatechangebh.org.uk.
