The Big Debate: How do we create a fairer city to support business growth?

Join Brighton Chamber for their next Big Debate, focused on shaping the future of Brighton’s economy.

What are the ‘if onlys’ and the ‘must haves’ that our businesses crave? What’s the next big idea for Brighton, and what will set us on a good path? Do businesses want to contribute by sharing their leadership skills and ideas?

With the next 10-year Economic Strategy on its way for our city, at our next Big Debate we’re asking how we can create a vision of a fairer city.

On 19 July at Cardinal Newman, our chair Martin Williams from Mayo Wynne Baxter, will be joined by a panel including Cllr Bella Sankey, Leader of Brighton & Hove City Council and Diana Palmer, Co-founder of Redroaster (more panellists to be announced soon) to share their thoughts on how we can create a fairer city that supports business growth.

Big Debates are lively, topical, and challenging. You’ll hear from our panel of provocateurs, and then it’s over to you, our audience, to share your thoughts. The Big Debate attracts attendees from business, charities and public sector to join the discussion.

Date: 19 July

Time: 5.30-7.30pm

Location: Cardinal Newman
