Shaun Superheroes wanted to take a drop from Brighton i360

Martlets have today announced a daring fundraising challenge as part of their Shaun by the Sea art trail this autumn.

Martlets are looking for Shaun’s Superheroes to take on a thrilling fundraising challenge as part of Shaun by the Sea this autumn.

Taking place on 5th October, Martlets have organised the Shear Drop – a Shaun the Sheep themed challenge event from Brighton i360. Participants will take a drop from the i360 pod while it is 450ft in the air.

The event is part of the Shaun by the Sea art trail, which features over 40 individually designed large Shaun the Sheep sculptures designed by local artists. Alongside the larger Shauns, there will also be 80 little Shauns created by schools, nurseries, community groups and care homes.

It costs £30 to take part in the Shear Drop and those who do so will be asked to fundraise for Martlets Hospice. Participants will receive an exclusive Shaun Superhero t-shirt.

David Phillips, Supporter Engagement Manager at Martlets said: “Could ewe conquer the shear drop? If you’re a Shaun Superhero then sign up for this exhilarating challenge today.

“Every penny we raise from the Shear Drop will change lives in our local community.”

Registration for the Shear Drop is now open at https://www.shaunbythesea.co.uk/events/shear-drop/
