How to make neurodivergence work with work

Learn to better support a neurodivergent leadership and workforce at Brighton Chamber’s next Q&A.

Awareness and diagnosis of adult ADHD, Autism and other related neurodivergent conditions have skyrocketed since 2020. But despite the overall rise in awareness, traditional ways of working and views on business structure and productivity are hard to shift.

On 25 January, Amy Lishman, Head of Member Engagement and Deputy CEO at Brighton Chamber will chat with Adam Dobay and Livia Farkas, founders of Weirdly Successful – a Brighton-based initiative providing practical strategies for people wanting to balance neurodivergent work and life.

We’ll be talking about how to start the process of unlearning neurotypical assumptions about how business should work and what success should look like.

This Q&A is for people who:

  • Care about being more responsible and responsive in their business

  • Want to learn how they can better support a neurodivergent leadership and workforce

  • Are keen to explore neurodivergence and its implications on day-to-day business operations

  • Are wondering about their own possible neurodivergent traits in business

There will be the opportunity to ask questions both in advance and during the event.

Date: 25 January

Time: 1-1.45pm
