Consultation for revised BHCC Council's Gambling Policy 2022-2024
The Council, as Licensing Authority, is carrying out a consultation exercise as part of the 3 year statutory review of its Gambling Policy 2019-2021. The policy reflects national legislation and guidance and demonstrates how responsible authorities will operate at a local level. The council would like local stakeholders, residents and members of the public as well as statutory consultees and “responsible authorities” to have their say about the proposed policy.
There are no major changes proposed. Pre-consultation was carried with the Gambling Commission and other relevant stakeholders to ensure the information is relevant and up to date.
An overview and online survey, together with links to the revised draft 2022-2024 Policy and Local Area Profile are detailed in the consultation overview and online survey. Your views will help to inform the revised policy, and therefore, I encourage you to complete the online survey. If you require a pdf copy of the consultation document please let us know by emailing ehl.safety@brighton-hove.gov.uk.
Consultation lasts for 8 weeks, starting on the 5th July and closing on the 29th August 2021.
