Announcing the next FREE Export Leaders Sessions starting in September 2021
The first cohort of Export Leaders are nearing their final session. They’ve found it practical, useful and inspiring. Now’s the time to book on for the next round.
Whether you are a regular exporter, a business new to exporting or wanting to consider it as part of your growth strategy – the Export Leaders Sessions is a brilliant opportunity to get support and to build and share your knowledge.
You will join a small group of people leading the drive for exports within their organisations or for their business. The idea is that they learn from and support each other over the weeks and months. Based on the principles of Action Learning, sessions will draw on the group’s diverse export and business expertise and experience.
Here are some of the benefits of joining the group:
• Development of your export strategy
• Peer to peer action learning, dealing with real day to day challenges
• Problem-solving your challenges
• Opportunity to reflect, plan and commit to an action plan
• All structured around a learning framework to improve your export skills
Visit the Chamber blog to read - Why should you join the next Export Leaders peer network session? and hear from previous attendees.
Skills and topics covered will include understanding your organisation and export objectives, looking at business models and approaches, and how to research and enter new markets.
Your facilitator will be Pete Jenkins, an Export Champion for the Department for International Trade and winner of a BOFTA (Board of Trade Award for Export).
The launch session is on 14 September, 9:30 - 11:30 am. Groups will run fortnightly from September to November and then monthly December to January. These peer network sessions will run for six months. There is an opportunity to join throughout the programme.
If you’re already exporting, or you’re thinking about entering new markets, sign up today.
