Brighton & Hove City Council Launches Workplace Wellbeing Support
The mix of Covid-19 related anxiety, social isolation and pre-existing mental health problems could be particularly difficult for many people to cope with. In addition, the current situation may have taken away some people’s previous coping mechanisms.
Practicing self-care is about making positive changes to prioritise your physical, mental and emotional health. Small changes can make a real difference to your wellbeing! Check in with yourself whilst working and make sure you prioritise your health by taking regular breaks, living a healthy lifestyle, finding a good work life balance, staying connected with colleagues or friends and family.
The Healthy Lifestyles team offers free support to stop smoking, eat healthier, reduce alcohol consumption, to be more active, weight management and wellbeing.
