C2C launch Regional Projects Business Case Development Fund

The Regional Projects Business Case Development Fund has been launched, using unallocated Growth Funds held by Coast to Capital to support a limited number of high-quality project proposals which may not otherwise have the means, capacity or expertise to progress without it.

Applicants are able to apply for between £20,000 and £100,000 of funding, depending on the nature and complexity of the project, to be used specifically toward the creation of a Full Business Case (FBC). Having an FBC prepared will place projects in a ready position to apply for further investment or borrowing, that would in turn enable them to be delivered. Successful projects will also receive an offer of in person support from the Coast to Capital team, tailored to the nature of the project.

We are asking each submission to set out their project proposal within a set of four broad themes: net zero energy; natural capital; regional identity; and local economies. In addition, submissions are also asked to describe how the project will support innovation and skills activity.

Full details of the application process and guidance can be found on the Coast to Capital website along with terms and conditions.

Applications must be submitted by Wednesday 2 February, with a view to allocate funding by the end of this financial year.

If you have any queries regarding the application process, please send these to grants@coast2capital.org.uk and the Team will get back to you as soon as possible.
