Hybrid: seizing the opportunity

Hybrid: seizing the opportunity

As the world steps carefully but confidently back into three dimensions post-Covid, one thing is certain about the next normal. While many of us have missed the authenticity and humanity of work and life in-person, the future will most definitely be hybrid.

To celebrate and mark the dawn of the new hybrid age, the Brighton Chamber is holding a carefully curated event from 4-6 pm on Friday 12 November.

Hybrid will bring together three leading thinkers and entrepreneurs to share their stories of seizing opportunity, on Brighton & Hove’s newest stage.

Our three keynote speakers will share their ideas on how to best capture the blended spirit of our times, followed by early evening drinks.

We’ll be hearing from:

Immunologist Professor Robin Shattock, who has been at the centre of the search for a Covid vaccine from the start of the pandemic.

Sanjay Lobo, CEO at onHand, a social impact tech start-up, where his estranged father was their first customer.

Rachel Watkyn, Founder of Tiny Box Company, who’s grown her now £10m turnover business with a backdrop of serious health issues, fire, flooding, an IT hack and now Covid-19.

Hosted by Kathy Caton, Founder of Brighton Gin, at a unique new venue, Ironworks Studios, in the heart of Brighton’s North Laine.

You’ll leave feeling inspired after an evening of forward-thinking talks, networking and nibbles.
