GTR Launch Travel Advice for Businesses

GTR Launch Travel Advice for Businesses

During the coronavirus pandemic GTR have been running services to help key workers get into work.

They have worked with hospitals, local authorities and other emergency services on their routes to understand what services businesses need and how they can amend services to meet their needs.

As more businesses start to return to work GTR is extending their campaign to help organisations plan how their employees will return to work if they need to use GTR services.

The newly launched guide for businesses provides a summary of what GTR has done so far, following government guidelines, to make it safe to travel on their services and provide some key messages for employees if they need to travel on their services.

To maintain social distance measures GTR are asking people to only use rail services if there is no other means of transport and to avoid peak hours if possible. Capacity will be monitored on all GTR services and at major stations and GTR are happy to share this data with organisations if they would find it useful in helping to plan their return to work.
