Consultation for draft masterplan for the Hove Station Area now open
Brighton & Hove City Council has prepared a draft masterplan for the Hove Station Area in the form of a draft Supplementary Planning Document (SPD).
The purpose of the masterplan is to help provide guidance on future development and planning decisions in this area. The document is available for public consultation between 14 December 2020 – 7 February 2021. Further information can be found at https://www.brighton-hove.gov.uk/content/planning/planning-policy/hove-station-area-masterplan where you can view the draft document, along with further information - including a short video, an ‘easy read’ summary and a link where you can submit comments online - and details of how to sign-up to online video meetings in January to find out more.
The council is hosting two online public meetings via Zoom on the following dates where representatives from the council and the masterplan team will discuss the draft document and be available to answer questions.
• Monday 11 January 11.30 – 13.00
• Thursday 14 January 17.00 – 18.30
If you are interested in attending one of these, please send an email to HoveStationSPD@brighton-hove.gov.uk by Friday 8 January with your preferred date. You will be sent an email with details on how to register for your event.

• Submit comments on the draft SPD
• Request a paper copy of the draft SPD (please provide your name and address)
Hove Station Neighbourhood Forum will be holding its own online event via Zoom on Saturday 16 January 11.30 – 13.00 where representatives from the council and masterplan team will be available discuss and answer questions on the draft SPD.
