Becoming a more resilient leader

Bite-sized learning (virtual): Becoming a more resilient leader

If you have ever wondered how you can manage the demands of work, be successful and not burnout in the process, then this session is for you. More than ever as a leader you have to know how to work within uncertainty, keep grounded while everything's changing, and navigate complex decisions using critical thinking.

In this session you’ll:

• Learn to manage your mental state so you can be effective under pressure.

• Discover mindsets that help you perform and have better health and wellbeing.

• Learn how to employ the science behind the way we behave under pressure to control your response.

• Develop the ability to stay focused and make positive decisions even at times of change and uncertainty.

Based on the latest neuroscience and psychological research this session will give you practical and easy-to-use tools and techniques to develop your resilience as a leader. It will also help you understand what mindsets work best for you when under pressure, and how to be more resilient more often. It will help you identify what patterns of thinking stop you performing at your best. You will also be able to help others develop their own resilience.

You’ll leave feeling able to deal with the pressure of work at a time of huge uncertainty and change.

This Brighton Chamber Bite-sized Learning session is led by Toby Buckle from Hazelbranch.
