A new study with recent (29.09) data from the Office of National Statistics, and found that the South East is the most entrepreneurial region in the UK outside of London.

The research shows that the parliamentary constituency of Brighton Pavilion ranked as the 12th most entrepreneurial area in the South East, with 876 small businesses per 10k working population. That's 48% higher than the UK average of 588 small businesses per 10k working population.

Overall in the UK, Brighton Pavilion ranked as the 52nd most entrepreneurial area.

Close to the Brighton City, another high scorer was Hove, which ranked 31st in the South East. Hove has 742 small businesses per 10k working population, which is 26% higher than the UK average. Nationwide, Hove came in 117th in the UK.

Brighton Kemptown was found to have less small businesses per person than Pavilion and Hove. Kemptown ranked as the 77th most entrepreneurial parliamentary constituency in the South East, with 31% less small businesses per person than the UK average.
