Graffiti Removal Enforcement Consultation Now Open

Graffiti removal enforcement consultation

This consultation seeks views from residents, landlords, businesses, Local Action Teams, community groups, council teams and other stakeholders across Brighton & Hove on graffiti removal and enforcement.

The feedback will be considered and a final approach presented to a future meeting of the council’s Environment, Transport & Sustainability Committee.

Some of the questions refer to Community Protection Notices (CPNs). These are issued to stop behaviour which is having a negative impact on the local community.

Any person 16 and over can be issued with a CPN, whether an individual or business. Failure to comply with a CPN can result in a £2,500 fine for individuals and £20,000 for businesses.
