The Brighton & Hove Visitor Economy Strategy consultation 2018

The Visitor Economy Strategy (VES) for Brighton & Hove is a strategy for the city first but looks outside to identify how the city and region can work together on tourism for mutual benefit.   The work has been commissioned by the City Council but this is a strategy for everyone with a responsibility or an interest in the visitor economy.  Its success relies on everyone getting behind the priorities and recommendations set out here and working together to deliver them.  A Destination Management Plan sets out priority actions needed to deliver the strategy over the next five years. The strategy is informed by consultations with national tourism agencies, regional partners and local businesses.

This consultation is an opportunity for Brighton & Hove residents and those working in the sector to comment on the draft of the Visitor Economy Strategy 2018 -2023. Comments received will be taken into consideration when completing the final Visitor Economy Strategy. The final document will then be taken to the Tourism Development & Culture Committee on 27th September.
